Small business and social partnership in resource saving economy

Abstract

In the context of the development of a market economy, it becomes important to maintain the social orientation of enterprises. In order to achieve the goal of obtaining as much profit as possible, one should also take good care of human resources. As part of the implementation of social and labor relations, economic entities must pursue effective social policy, develop areas of social partnership, and maintain a stable socio-psychological climate in organizations. Resource saving sets itself the main goal of reducing production costs, which in the future should lead to lower costs. The use of resource-saving technologies is always associated with optimizing the use of various types of resources — from material, financial to human. For enterprises and small business organizations, this problem is especially relevant, since they are the most vulnerable in a market economy and competition. It is important that during all optimization processes the main directions of social partnership are preserved and that when personnel are reduced, social complications for the released workforce are minimized and the necessary social protection is provided. The issue of ensuring conditions for economic activity without losses is also of particular relevance, and therefore the unreasonable problem of underemployment in small businesses should be minimized. If there is a threat of staff reductions, laid-off workers should be guaranteed the preservation of their labor rights in full.
