Abstract
The first data are reported about nonmotile green microalgae found in soils of the Bellinshausen Station (Antarctic, South Shetland Islands, King George Island): 16 genera and 19 species (Chlamydophyceae: Chlorococcales; Chlorophyceae: Chlorellales, Chlorisarcinales, Ulotrichales).
