Crisis Remote Counseling on a Helpline as a Significant Resource in Increasing the Availability of High-Quality Psychological Assistance to Participants in Educational Relations

Abstract

<p style="text-align: justify;">The problem of excessive stress and psychological tension in the modern world is acquiring global proportions, including in the educational environment. In this regard, high-quality psychological assistance is becoming not just in demand, but also a necessary service. One of them is a helpline. As a tool of psychological support, it is crucial in managing crisis situations in the educational environment. In conditions of increased emotional stress and social isolation caused by emergency circumstances, such as a pandemic, combat operations and military events, crisis remote counseling is becoming a key resource for accessible psychological assistance. The article examines the specifics of crisis remote counseling, confirmed by an analysis of domestic and foreign scientific literature, and analyzes the current statistics of communications on the helpline. The features of working with a helpline as a tool for remote psychological assistance, its capabilities and limitations are also described.</p>
