The influence of selection work in football on the effectiveness of competitive activities of teams

Abstract

The study analyzes the relationship between competitive activities and selection work in the transfer market of Ukrainian football clubs "Shakhtar" Donetsk and "Dynamo" Kyiv for the period 2000-2020. The tasks are solved by analyzing and summarizing data from scientific and methodological literature sources and the Internet , retrospective analysis of documentary materials, methods of mathematical statistics. As a result of the study, the dynamics of the quantitative representation of foreign legionnaires who defended the colors of the leading clubs of Ukraine "Shakhtar" Donetsk and "Dynamo" Kyiv in the national football championship in the seasons 2000-2020 was determined, the statistical indicators of transfer transitions of two leading clubs football. The authors note that the flagships of Ukrainian football FC Shakhtar Donetsk and FC Dynamo Kyiv are fighting fiercely on the football field, while analyzing the effectiveness of selection work of clubs in the transfer market, which clarifies the priority success of the Pitmen for the period 2000-2020 Bright personalities, known in the football world, adorn with loud names the powerful financial activities of teams, which has a significant impact on the competitive result.
