Medical and biological aspects of preserving the mental health of modern youth in conditions of military aggression

Abstract

In the article considered psychological syndromes and conditions observed in a significant number of young Ukrainians during military aggression, which worsen the state of their physical and mental health, negatively affect the desire and ability to study effectively, and worsen the quality of life of young people. The purpose of the work: to characterize the main negative psychological syndromes and conditions, to outline approaches to the development of an algorithm for detection, diagnosis, rehabilitation and prevention of similar disorders. Scientific novelty: in the case of negative psychological states provoked by war, the physical and mental health of a young person suffers, and therefore the use of methods and means of physical therapy, which are natural for the body and have practically no side effects, in the rehabilitation of patients acquires great importance. Physical therapy techniques can be used in the management of mild to moderate mental health dysfunctions, especially depression and anxiety. Conclusions: 1. Psychological syndromes and conditions observed in young Ukrainians during military aggression have a negative impact on their desire and ability to learn effectively, and worsen the quality of life. 2. Studying the impact of psycho-traumatic situations on the mental health of young Ukrainians, diagnosing, rehabilitating and preventing similar disorders is of great importance, because young people are the future of our country. 3. Further study of these issues will have a significant economic effect, because young people are the most capable and active part of society.
