Abstract
This study is a taxonomic study on Whitefly (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) species, which is an important pest in our country and detected in all regions of our country. Especially, the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) maintains its existence all year due to the increasing diversity of plant species and the inability to obtain products all year. In addition, it has become an important pest for the Southeastern Anatolia Region, as it causes serious damage to the products with the increase in the whitefly density due to the increased humidity due to agricultural irrigation. Species belonging to the Aleyrodidae family collected from different hosts in the provinces of Şırnak, Siirt, Batman, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Gaziantep and Kilis in the Southeastern Anatolia Region between 2019-2022 were determined by using the morphological diagnostic characters of the pupal shell and Whitefly (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae). was carried out to identify the species. In the study, samples were collected from agriculture, forest and non-agricultural areas. During the study, sample collection was carried out by making irregular exits in all periods of the year. Nine whitefly species were identified from the collected samples. These species are; Bemisia afer, B. tabaci, Dialeurodes citri, Dialeurolobus pulcher, D. rhamni, Massileurodes setger, Siphoninus phillyreae, Trialeurodes vaporariroum and Tetraleurodes neemani.
