Abstract
Subject. The digitalization of modern society is a given that must be taken into account. It is no longer possible to abandon the trends of digitalization of any sphere of human activity. The latter is due to the fact that the states that are at the forefront of digitalization dictate their conditions to the whole world. The Russian Federation has the necessary intellectual potential to integrate into the processes of digitalization not only and not so much as a consumer of the achievements of the digital economy, but also as a manufacturer of an intellectual product that can balance the distortions of digitalization in the economic and social spheres. In this article, improvisation is considered from the perspective of the prospects for the introduction of digital technologies, in particular, ecosystems in agriculture.
Goals. The author examines the well - known positions on this issue and argues for his vision of the prospects and threats of digitalization, as well as the potential of the Russian Federation in the process of digitalization of a specific industry-agriculture.
Methodology. In the process of studying the problem of introducing digital ecosystems in agriculture, methods of logical and statistical analysis were used.
Results. Today, agriculture remains the least digitalized industry in the world. At the same time, an impressive list of directions of digitalization of the industry has been outlined, including on issues of management in agriculture of enterprises of both large and small businesses, a number of technologies for "smart" production of agricultural products, which is very promising in the conditions of the Russian Federation, taking into account the peculiarities of climatic conditions, in particular, the presence of extensive zones of risky farming.
Conclusions. It is concluded that despite all the existing concerns of some experts about the possible digital inequality of representatives of small and large businesses in agriculture, the prospect of digitalization, in our opinion, on the contrary, is able to harmonize many processes in the economy and social sphere, because drawing an analogy with other spheres of human activity, we see that digital ecosystems provide a wide range of opportunities for all market participants, access to the latest achievements of science and the results of successful implementation of these achievements.
