Abstract

Purpose: Ecotourism not only offers an enchanting tourist experience, but also aims to preserve biodiversity, local culture and the welfare of local communities. Sustainable ecotourism management requires serious attention to various aspects, including the environment, education, infrastructure, economy, socio-culture, government regulations and customs, and social capital.   Method: The methods used are direct field observation and interviews where the respondents are determined usingaccidental sampling regularlypurposive sampling.   Results: The results obtained from this research are that there are five main factors that influence sustainable ecotourism management in the Bukit Batu area consisting of environment, infrastructure, socio-culture, regulations and social capital where the influencing variables consist of customs and values.T-statistic 2,099 andp-value 0.0001, Information Flow with valueT- statistic 2,708 andp-value 0.0001, Infrastructure by valueT-statistic 2,148 andp-value 0.0001, as well as Community Conditions with a valueT-statistic 2,148 andp-value 0,0001.
