Abstract

Objective: The study aimed to identify the extent of social interaction's ability to predict the quality of life among students at King Faisal University.   Theoretical Framework: In this topic, the main concepts and theories that underpin the research are presented. [List relevant theories, models or frameworks] stand out, providing a solid basis for understanding the context of the investigation.   Method: The researchers used a descriptive approach (correlational, causal-comparative, and predictive), administering two scales (social interaction - quality of life) to a sample of 407 Male and female students.   Results and Discussion: The study found a positive and statistically significant correlation between social interaction and quality of life among university students. Students' social interaction level was generally high, especially in relationships, integration, and initiative. The level of quality of life among students was high in general and in all its dimensions. The results also showed statistically significant differences in the "influence" and "cooperation" dimensions of social interaction in favour of males. There are no significant differences in the rest of the dimensions or the total degree of social interaction between males and females.   Research Implications: Professors and university staff, as a socializing place, can influence formal processes that enhance the social interaction of students, which allows them to have a better quality of life.   Originality/Value: According to the review conducted, there are no previous studies that investigate the predicting effect of social interaction on the quality of life among university students.
