Abstract
The article addresses the fundamentals of hatred and fear in relation to alterity that contradicts the
narcissistic dream of subjective and social self-sufficiency, inside migrant communities, and the
communities that receive migrants. Migrants in Mexico are no longer equivalent to an exchange of
knowledge and experiences, and they are now seen as unpleasant. A paranoid propaganda, which can be
easily tracked in social media, has provided the figure of an undesirable migration of Central American
people. The discourse that responds to an elevation of ancient fears, is displayed by the traumatic side of
Covid 19.
