Abstract
A 21-year-old male patient went for a routine check-up for the follow-up of a hip pathology (figure). As background, he mentioned an insidious start from childhood, specifically at 5 years of age, with intermittent pain alternating between the two legs for several months, affecting the hip, groin, and thigh, with days of "lameness" when walking. On hip X-rays taken at that. At that time, no obvious alterations were observed, so it was gave symptomatic treatment. At 13 years, asymmetry was observed in the length of the pelvic limbs and morphological changes in both coxofemoral joints. The patient and his family deny a history of hip dysplasia.
