Abstract
Knowledge and practices of Computed Tomography (CT) exposure parameters have a direct impact on radiation exposure to patients in CT examinations. This study is aimed to determine the level of knowledge and practice of CT exposure parameters among radiographers in a teaching hospital in Malaysia. A cross-sectional survey using a validated questionnaire was conducted on 60 radiographers who are practicing CT in a teaching hospital in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The results demonstrated that the radiographers had good and excellent scores in knowledge (76.5%) and practice (88.3%), respectively. Further training on CT optimization practice should be executed for radiographers in the future.
