Abstract
The resistance to sour gasoline of epichlorohydrin-ethylene oxide terpolymers with allyl groups was studied for various curing systems, antioxidants, and allyl contents. A rubber with 5% of allyl content, cured by a triazine trithiol-MgO-CaCO3 system, showed the best resistance, probably due to the presence of thiol groups in the crosslinks.
