Abstract

The article deals with geodynamic studies of Belarus territory, belonging to the Eastern European platform. Actual cosmotectonic map of the country is presented. The tectonic movements of Belarus are complex, due to the inherited movements’ manifestation in combination with the latest ones caused by internal stresses restructuring in the Earth’s interior and cosmic influences. Combined with man-made factors, this may increase to a dangerous level of tectonic faults deformation, especially with weak waterlogged grounds of the area. The necessity of a comprehensive approach of various specialists in Earth Sciences at all geodynamic research stages is shown. The results of long-term geodetic monitoring of two deep active tectonic faults in Belarus are analyzed
