1. NIKLAS AMBERG is a Ph.D. student at the Stockholm School of Economics. His research lies at the intersection of corporate finance and macroeconomics and mainly focuses on the interactions between financial markets and the real economy. Some of his recent projects deal with questions such as how bank distress affects employment and investment at non-financial firms and how recessions and banking crises affect reallocation patterns.
2. RICHARD FRIBERG is Jacob Wallenberg Professor and Chairman of the Economics Department at the Stockholm School of Economics. Much of his research, including articles published in the American Economic Review and the Journal of Finance , has focused on how firms manage exchange rate risk. His book, Managing Risk and Uncertainty: A Strategic Approach , was recently published by MIT Press.
