Abstract

AbstractWe tested for Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV) from at least 15 species of non‐human primates. RVFV IgG/IgM antibodies were detected in 3.7% (2 out of 53) of chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes) and in 1.4% (1 out of 72) of unidentified non‐human primate species. This study was the first investigation of RVFV in monkeys in Cameroon.
