Combination oral antifungal therapy for paediatric fungal infection: An option to improve efficacy and overcome clinical resistance

Abstract

AbstractThere is increasing evidence of clinically resistant cutaneous fungal infections. The use of combination oral antifungals is described in adults but not in paediatric patients. We present seven paediatric cases of clinically resistant fungal infections treated successfully with combination oral antifungal therapy after inadequate response to a single agent.
