Abstract
Summary
The ultra-violet absorptions of rutin and quercetin have been investigated. A rapid method has been developed for the accurate determination of the minor constituent of binary mixtures of rutin and quercetin, and a formula derived for the correction of the gross absorption for the absorption due to the minor constituent. A comparison has been made between American methods of assay and the method in use in this laboratory.
