Abstract

Abstract Striatal acetylcholine concentration was determined after administration of varying doses of apomorphine, (+)-PPP and (-)-PPP to rats. (+)-PPP at 3 and 10 mg kg−1 is a dopamine agonist, whereas (-)-PPP at 0.3 and 3 mg kg−1 is a dopamine antagonist in the striatum.
