Abstract
SUMMARYEndometriosis is a relatively common condition in women of child‐bearing age, and coincidental intestinal serosal involvement is frequently recognised. However, intestinal obstruction, although reported, is rare. We report what we believe is the first case with synchronous ileo‐caecal and rectosigmoid obstructing endometriomas. Endometriosis as a cause of bowel obstruction is discussed and in particular the differential diagnosis from Crohn's disease and malignancy.
