Abstract

AbstractThis piece for the 100th year of publication of Immunology & Cell Biology focuses on the contributions of two long‐serving Editors‐in‐Chief, Mark Mitchell (1936–1963) and Derrick Rowley (1963–1987). This was a period of growth and consolidation for the journal, through sometimes challenging and changing times. Some of the notable works published in the journal during this time are also highlighted.
