Abstract
The problem of optical photon scattering by an electron in a microwave field is studied in the context of Schrödinger theory, neglecting spin. A strong dependence of the spectrum of the scattered radiation on the microwave intensity is found; however, the total scattering cross section is only weakly affected. The calculation includes the derivation of the exact Green function for the electron in a classical electromagnetic field.
