Analyse Rotationnelle des Etats C2Δ et D2Σ− de AsO: Perturbations de l'Etat C

Abstract

Rotational analysis of several subbands of the C2Δ (a) → X2Π (a) system of the AsO radical show five perturbations in the v = 0, 1, 2, and 3 levels of the C state. Three perturbations are due to components of a new state, probably 2Δ (a) or 2Φ (a). The deperturbed constants of this new state and of the C state are extracted from the experimental data. Constants are also given for two upper vibrational states of the D2Σ → X2Π (a) transition which overlaps the C → X system.
