Gaseous positronics – past, present, and future

Abstract

Research, both experimental and theoretical, concerning the interaction of positrons with atoms and molecules has progressed now to the stage where it is not only timely to reflect upon the historical development and to review our current knowledge of this subject but it is appropriate to speculate upon the challenges it presents to the future and to endeavor to chart that future.
