Abstract
The transmission of cosmic radiation at 3 392 meters through lead was studied over a range of thicknesses between 10 and 20 cm with intensities measured in terms of star frequency in photographic emulsions. A second maximum was observed between 16 and 17 cm of lead, the transmitted radiation being equal in intensity to the incident radiation.
