Diffraction by a perfectly conducting elliptic cylinder in the presence of other scatterers

Abstract

A solution is developed for scattering by a small, elliptic, perfectly conducting cylinder in the presence of an unspecified set of other scatterers, upon which an impedance boundary condition is allowed. The results are applied to two examples: an elliptic cylinder over an impedance plane, and an elliptic cylinder in a parallel plate waveguide.
