Abstract
The energy levels of 121Te and 124Te have been studied in the 120Te(d,p)121Te and the 123Te(d,p)124Te reactions using a 12 MeV deuteron beam. The targets were prepared in an isotope separator. Angular distributions of the emerging protons were recorded with an Enge split-pole magnetic spectrograph. The extracted spectroscopic results were compared to data from decay studies and to (d,p) results in other Te isotopes. A particularly low spectroscopic strength was observed for the h11/2 orbital in 121Te.
