Abstract
The effects of the thermodynamical behavior of the fluid on vorticity and current density generated behind magnetogasdynamic shocks have been discussed in detail. It has been observed that in general, the vorticity and current density are not independent of the thermodynamical behavior of the fluid, but in some particular cases they can be obtained purely from dynamical considerations.
