Vapour pressure and thermodynamic data for the binary liquid mixture of pyridine and sulphur dioxide

Abstract

Solubility and nmr data arc presented for the pyridine – sulphur dioxide system. The data have been analyzed to determine partial vapour pressures, activity coefficients, and thermodynamic functions. The results indicate that a 1: 1 complex of pyridine and SO2 is formed in these solutions.
