Abstract

A lectotype is designated for Glomus macrocarpum Tul. & Tul. from the original Tulasne collections. As a consequence of the examination of type materials of previously proposed synonyms of this species, three new combinations are made: Glomus australe (Berk.) Berch, Glomus versiforme (Karst.) Berch, and Glomus tenebrosum (Thaxter) Berch.
