Abstract
Thermographs were installed on the condenser intakes of several steamships on the Great Lakes, with which the water temperature was recorded for five to ten years. Averages are presented in tables, maps, and diagrams. The temperature varies considerably over a lake surface in a manner determined by the depths and currents. Standard deviations and serial correlations are found for some of the data.
