Abstract
Oxysomatium inglisi n. sp. from the intestine of Rana catesbeiana Shaw of Algonquin Park, Ontario, is most similar to O. giganticum (Olsen, 1938) but its well-developed lips, and a prominent swelling before the oesophageal bulb, readily distinguish it from this species.
