Abstract
The energy distribution and forward–backward asymmetry of α-particles emitted in the 147Sm(n,α)144Nd reaction has been measured at the neutron energy 19.5 MeV. The results have been analyzed in terms of statistical, pre-equilibrium, and knock-on models.
