Vibrational analysis of the A2Π–X2Σ and B2Σ–X2Σ transitions of YS and rotational analysis of the B–X (0,0) band

Abstract

Transitions A2Π–X2Σ and B2Σ–X2Σ of YS have been studied in the spectral range between 6360 and ~ 8500 Å. Numerous perturbations are observed in the vibrational structure. Constants for states X(ωe = 492.7 cm−1, ωexe ~ 1.2 cm−1) and B(ωe = 449.7 cm−1, ωexe ~ 1.4 cm−1) were calculated from the heads. In the case of state A, it was shown only that [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text].The analysis of the (0,0) band of the B–X system provided the following constants: X state: B″ = 0.13877 cm−1, D″ = 3.7 × 10−8 cm−1 state: B′ = 0.1330 cm−1, γ′0 = −0.154 cm−1, γ′N = 6.2 × 10−6 cm−1.
