Vibrational Spectra of Peroxydisulfuryl Difluoride S2O6F2 and the Halogen Derivatives FOSO2F and ClOSO2F

Abstract

Vibrational spectra of the halogenfluorosulfates FOSO2F and ClOSO2F are recorded and Cs symmetry is suggested for the molecules. For peroxydisulfuryl difluoride a staggered non-planar configuration with C2 symmetry is indicated by the polarized Raman spectra.
