Abstract
Cochliodinol at 15 μg/ml reduced the respiration rate of microspores of Fusarium oxysporum, with glucose or succinate as substrate, by about 70%, and also inhibited their germination. The inhibitory effect was partially reversed by the addition of magnesium ions to the medium.
