Abstract
Previous analyses of the A1Σ+–X1Σ+ and B1Π–X1Σ+ systems of 24MgH+ have been extended. Dunham coefficients and RKR potential energy curves have been determined for the A and X states. Franck–Condon calculations based upon these curves show improved agreement between theory and experiment for the A–X transition. Measurements on the stronger bands of 25MgH+ and 26MgH+ are also reported.
