The fifth spectrum of indium: In V

Abstract

The indium spectrum has been photographed in the region 575–190 Å on a 10.7 m grazing incidence vacuum spectrograph. On the basis of the improved data and parametric calculations of 4d9 and 4d85p configurations and the intensity calculations of the allowed transitions, the spectrum has been revised. Many new levels have been found and the designations of several levels established earlier have been changed. Fifty-five lines have been classified in this spectrum.
