Abstract
The microwave spectrum of paraldehyde has been investigated in the range 14 to 26 GHz using commercial reagent grade samples. The spectrum of the symmetric rotor triequatorial methyl conformer was found, giving the value B0 = 1822.41 ± 0.05 MHz. he effects of low energy molecular vibrations are prominent in the spectrum.
