Type studies of Coniella, Anthasthoopa, and Cyclodomella

Abstract

The history of the generic names Coniella Höhn., Anthasthoopa Subram. & Ramakr., and Cyclodomella Mathur, Bhatt & Thirum. is briefly reviewed. Five species are accepted in Coniella, including C. musaiaensis n. sp. from Bauhinia reticulata DC., and C. simba (Subram. & Ramakr.) n. comb. (≡ Anthasthoopa simba Subram. & Ramakr.). Cyclodomella nigra Mathur, Bhatt & Thirum., the type and only species of Cyclodomella, is tentatively reduced to synonymy with Coniella diplodiella (Speg.) Petrak & Syd. sensu Petrak & Syd.
