On the Existence of Five-Coordinate Titanium(IV) Acetylacetonates

Abstract

Monomeric trialkoxy(acetylacetonato)titanium(IV) compounds postulated as five coordinate complexes, are shown to be mixtures of well-established four and six coordinate derivatives. A structure is suggested for the dimeric species.
