Abstract
The CO fluorescence of the a′ 3Σ+, d3Δi, and e3Σ− → a3Π systems, produced by photodissociation of CO2 is identified and analyzed and the population distributions of the vibrational levels of the a′ 3Σ+ and d3Δi states are obtained. The data are found to be reasonably represented by a Poisson distribution.
