Abstract
In analogy with the treatment of a particle whose Lagrangian depends on the arc length and curvature of the path, we consider a particle whose Lagrangian depends on the arc length and torsion of the path. By introducing an auxiliary "einbein" field, the massless limit can be taken. The Dirac constraint formalism is used to cast the theory into Hamiltonian form. A solution to the equations of motion is obtained.
