Abstract
Genetic analysis of soybeans, Glycine max (L.) Merr., detected a fourth flavonol glycoside gene, Fg4, in addition toFg1, Fg2 and Fg3. Sixteen flavonol classes were observed with each of the four genes showing dominance for glycoside formation. Fg3 and Fg4 are linked with the T1 gene that controls the hydroxylation of kaempferol to quercetin.
