Abstract
We propose an effective Hamiltonian for the Ginzburg–Landau theory of a superconductor at rest. This yields the ordinary, and a time-dependent generalized Ginzburg–Landau theory. Then we generalize the Hamiltonian and derive a generalized Ginzburg–Landau theory for non-uniformly moving superconductors. We show that the fluxoid in a singly connected rotating superconductor is quantized.
