NEUTRON SEPARATION ENERGIES FOR ZIRCONIUM AND THE Zr96–Nb96 AND Nb94–Zr91 DECAY ENERGIES

Abstract

Values are reported for the Zr92–Zr90, Zr94–Zr92, and Zr96–Zr94 mass differences. These are combined with existing data to compute neutron separation energies for Zr94 and Zr96, and the energies available for the Zr96–Nb96 and Nb94–Zr94 decays. It is pointed out that marked regularities exist amongst the neutron separation energies for zirconium and tin.
