Abstract
We have calculated the excitation energies and the length and velocity forms of the optical oscillator strengths for the resonance 1s22s22p63s2Se → 1s22s22p63p2P0 transition and the nonresonance 1s22s22p63s2Se → 1s22s22p64p2P0, 1s22s22p63p2P0 → 1s22s22p64s2Se and 1s22s22p64s2Se → 1s22s22p64p2P0 transitions in Na, Mg+, Al2+, Si3+, S5+, Ar7+, Ca9+, and Fe15+ systems. Inner-shell excitation in the P4+ ion has also been studied. The agreement between the length and velocity forms of the oscillator strengths is reasonably good.
