Abstract
The electron capture to positron branching ratios, e/β+, in the decay of 22Na and 44Sc have been re-measured by a new anticoincidence counting method. The results confirm the earlier values obtained by coincidence counting, but with a significantly reduced uncertainty. The new values are: 0.1079 ± 0.0003 for decay of 22Na to the 1.27 MeV level in 22Ne and 0.0499 ± 0.0005 for decay of 44Sc to the 1.16 MeV level in 44Ca.
