Weak nucleon–nucleon–meson couplings and nuclear parity violation

Abstract

After many years of careful theoretical and experimental study of nuclear parity violation, rough empirical values for weak parity violating nucleon–nucleon–meson vertices have been deduced. We address some of the physics which has been learned from this effort and show that it has implications for work going on outside this field.
