Hydrogen Bonding in the case of Self-associated Fluoroalcohols

Abstract

The OH stretching band of polymeric fluoroalcohols exhibits a much higher rate of shifting with temperature but it is less anharmonic than the corresponding band of ordinary alcohols. The degree of self-association in their solutions is discussed.
